Hi there, you're the first Asian-American that I came across who is teaching in Vietnam. I have thought about the TEFL program at TEFL International but was, and still am, reluctant to give it a go because I am Vietnamese-American. Most, if not all, of the English teaching job postings I've seen list "native speaker" as one of the criteria. I have been living in the states since 9 years old and speaks fluent English. I'm very interested in your experince with the whole process. Is it possible for me to contact you via e-mail?

Ken:

It's great to teach English here. Don't worry about the native speaker thing. If you can speak English fluently and know your Grammar then you are all set.

Chris:

Hehehe, i know. Been too busy just like you. Hey, you gonna dance or what? Let me know.

I am a former student of SGT. it was really a bad time when I studied at SGT. There are many things I would like to say to you about SGT but I do not have enough time to tell. Believe or not. It depend on you. But I strongly recommend you should quit this school. SGT is not nice as you think because its board of directors have many tricks to make money. I lost a lot of money because of them. And I still can not get SaigonTech's degree. Luckily, some teachers in HCCS help me to get the degree from the U.S.
